Basic Floral Design
Learn foundational floral design skills, key mechanics, and essential design principles in this hands-on beginner-friendly class. You’ll create four projects: a vase arrangement, a
centerpiece, a formal linear design, and a “different” dozen, using provided containers and fresh, vibrant flowers. Intermediate Floral Design
Advance your foundational skills with our Intermediate Floral Design workshop, focused on applying key Principles of Design. Building on concepts from the Basics class, you'll
create four hands-on projects that explore balance, proportion, contrast, rhythm, and unity. This class is ideal for designers ready to refine their technique, experiment with new styles, and expand their creative range. Join us to deepen your understanding of floral artistry and elevate your design skills.
Exploring Line in Design
Experience the power of line in floral design during this hands-on workshop with guest designer Donald Yim, sponsored by Smithers-Oasis and LBR instructor Sandy Schroeck.

Blossom Online Master Class
A nine-session online master class that brings the Principles of Floral Design to life. Through a mix of guided lessons, hands-on assignments, and live feedback
sessions on Teams, you’ll refine your skills, strengthen your design foundation, and grow as a floral artist. Each two-hour session includes one hour of instruction and one hour of critique. Your registration includes the Floral Design, 3rd Edition book, online learning materials, and worksheets. Be ready to complete coursework and create designs to present in class. Whether you’re new to floral design or an experienced professional, this course will elevate your artistry and confidence as you master the core principles of design.
